The images of the Lycée Le Corbusier in Strasbourg (France), entirely covered with clear colorless Perclax® panels, within which metal chips were embedded, have been published online. These panels act as a solar shading system. Perclax® unique optical properties ensure maximum light transmission in any condition.

New Certification for Perclax® PMMA by Clax Italia.

Germanischer Lloyd (1867) is a classification group with offices in 77 countries, performing technical and engineering services that include risk mitigation, assurance of technical compliance for oil, material gases and industrial installations.
Germanischer Lloyd, after a series of approval drafts, issued to Clax Italia certifications for acrylic products, appropriate systems of quality assurance on branded Aquaria® and Perclax® products.

Technical checks carried out on materials, in compliance with EU Directive 97/23/EC, have allowed industrial casting processes, manufacturing plants, surface grinding and polishing equipment, as well as annealing processes, to be certified.
Particular certifications have been issued within the field of acrylic window production technologies, marine technologies, diving, diving systems and submarines.

Nelson`s ship in a bottle London

Inaugurated this morning in London, in the beautiful surroundings of Trafalgar Square, “Nelson’s Ship in a Bottle” a bottle made of methacrylate Perclax ®, which incorporates a miniature giant-HMS Victory.

The work, painted in methacrylate Perclax ® (green color – transparent), measuring 5 meters in length and 2.8 in diameter, is located on the “4th plinth” in the square, and is facing the column dedicated to Admiral Nelson.

Creator of the work, commissioned to commemorate the historic Battle of Trafalgar and the multi-ethnic culture of the country, the Anglo-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare.
